§ 75.08 HAND SIGNALS REQUIRED.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of operators of bicycles before turning, stopping, decreasing their speed, or changing their course of direction, to make sure such movement can be made in safety, and to give notice of intention by executing hand-arm signals in the following manner:
      (1)   Right turn: hold left arm in vertical position;
      (2)   Left turn: hold left arm in horizontal position; and
      (3)   Slow or stop: hold left arm extended in a downward position.
   (B)   An operator of a standing bicycle about to start shall give moving vehicles the right-of-way and shall give a timely and visible warning signal in some unmistakable manner before so starting. No bicycle shall start or pull away from the curb while a trackless trolley is passing abreast of such bicycle.
