(A) The Police Department is hereby authorized and empowered to police and exercise its full authority over the property owned by the village and lying outside the village limits known as Hammond Park and the Village Water Reservoir and all other village-owned lands.
(B) The Police Department shall in the exercise of this authority over said property, preserve the peace, protect persons and property, and obey and enforce the provisions of this code and any other ordinances of the village and all the criminal laws of the state and the United States in the same manner as it performs said duties within the village limits.
