(A) Regular full-time non-safety employees shall be entitled to participate in any village group hospitalization and major medical insurance plan for themselves, subject to any restrictions imposed thereon by the Village Council. Employees shall be permitted to choose to forego any medical insurance offered by the village and they shall than receive a set amount per month lieu of said insurance benefits to be determined by Council at the beginning of each year.
(B) Regular full-time non-safety employees shall be entitled to purchase medical insurance at their cost, for their dependents, subject to any restrictions imposed thereon by the Council and/or the village’s insurance carrier.
