§ 73.18 TIRE SQUEALING.
   (A)   No person shall operate any motor vehicle except when necessary for safe operation or in compliance with law, in such a manner that the vehicle is so rapidly accelerated or started from a stopped position that the exhaust system emits a loud cracking, chattering, or clattering noise, unusual to its normal operation, or the rubber tires of such vehicle squeal or leave tire marks on the roadway, commonly called “peeling”.
   (B)   The creation of noise by a squealing of rubber tires, by a cracking, chattering, or clattering noise from the exhaust, or the creation of tire marks on the roadway accompanying such squealing of tires shall be prima facie evidence of the intent of the operator to violate this section.
