§ 153.01 DEFINITIONS.
   (A)   For the purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      SUBDIVIDER. The owner or authorized agent of the owner of the subdivision.
      SUBDIVISION. The division of any parcel or contiguous parcels of land into two or more lots or sites, any which is less than five acres in area, for the purpose, either immediate or future, of transfer of ownership. This definition is not intended to apply to the sale of parcels greater than five acres and does not apply to subdivisions not involving new streets or easements for access.
   (B)   Reference to the village as the means of approval, acceptance, and inspection mean Council acting concurrently with the Village Planning Commission and County Engineer.
