(A) The Director of Public Safety and Service is authorized to:
(1) Extend any water main within the corporate limits not to exceed a distance of 100 feet; and
(2) Determine the size of pipe which shall be used by the city for any extension of the water main.
(B) The costs of extending the water mains, including labor and material, shall be paid out of the Water Extension Fund of the city.
