§ 153.235 PURPOSE.
   (A)   The city recognizes that manufactured housing presents residential opportunities and options, especially related to cost, which are unavailable with conventional site-built housing. Nonetheless, such manufactured housing has unique development characteristics that require special treatment in regard to location, placement and land use compatibility.
   (B)   The MH-R Manufactured Home Residential District is established to provide areas for manufactured homes so as to provide a desirable residential environment, protected from adverse neighboring influences, with adequate access for vehicular traffic and circulation. These residential communities shall be developed and located so as to not promote excessive vehicular traffic on streets in adjoining neighborhoods, and shall provide overall desirability equivalent to that for other forms of residential development.
