§ 51.20  LICENSED PLUMBERS.
   The Council may license, for the term of 1 year, 1 or more citizens of the city to be known as licensed plumbers, who shall, before doing any business, give a bond to the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer with sufficient sureties, to be approved by the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer, in the penal sum as the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer requires, not less than $1,000, nor more than $2,000, with condition that he or she will in all things well and truly conform to all the terms and conditions of this and all subsequent ordinances and regulations enacted or adopted by the city in relation to the electric light plant and water works system, and that he or she will in all things save harmless the city from damages on account of any work or services by him or her done or performed in connection with the works, and that he or she will perform all work or services by him or her undertaken in connection with the business in a first class workmanlike manner, any violation of any of the terms of this chapter shall work a forfeiture of the license, and it shall be the duty of the Council to revoke the license upon proof to them of any violation on the part of any person so licensed.
