§ 51.04 APPLICATIONS; PERMITS.
   (A)   Persons desiring to tap any water main for the purpose of using water from any water main and attaching service pipes thereto, or any person wishing to use the light from the electric plant and connecting any service wire to the main circuit conductor or wires, shall file a written application with the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer, stating in detail the number and kind of lights desired or the uses to which the water is to be applied, the premises, upon or in which the same is to be used; when it shall be the duty of the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer to at once notify the President of the filing of the same and the President and the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer shall at once examine and allow or disallow the same.
   (B)   If allowed, the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer shall furnish the applicant with a permit duly executed, allowing the request contained in the application, but the lights or water shall not be used in any manner or for any other purpose than as stated in the application, and not more than 1 house and the outilage shall be supplied from 1 tap except by permission in writing from the City Council; all applications or the blanks for the same shall be furnished free of cost by the city upon application to the City Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer.
