§ 51.03 METERS; GENERALLY.

The Council shall have the right to order a meter to be applied to any service pipe or wire whenever they may deem it advisable and collect meter rates for water or light, and all parties accepting meter rates in preference to special or established rates shall pay for the meter and the cost of placing the same.
