ORDINANCE NO. 2017-01 (273)

CITY OF WELLS, MINNESOTA

AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WELLS, MINNESOTA, THAT:

SECTION I.   The City Council of the City of Wells has reviewed its existing City Code and is desirous of re-codifying the City Code of Ordinances to include all ordinances passed since the 2011 Supplement through July 10, 2016 and to delete and update such provisions as needed.

SECTION II.   Pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 415.021, the City Council of the City of Wells has caused the revised code to be printed and directs the publication of notice of the adoption of the re-codification and directs that a substantial quantity of the codification be printed and a statement be published for at least two successive weeks in the official newspaper and that copies of the codification are available at the office of City Administrator/Clerk.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing ordinance made by Council Member Herman and was duly seconded by Council Member Harig and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Dulas, Harig, Herman & Weber and the following voted against the same: none

Whereupon said ordinance was declared duly READ, CONSIDERED, PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of Wells, Minnesota, at which a quorum was present and which was held on the 13th day of March, 2017.
