(A) All terms, words, or phrases, if not defined in division (B) below, shall have the meaning given to them by Minnesota Statutes.
(B) For the purpose of §§ 70.20 et seq., the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
A.T.V. A motorized floatation-tired vehicle of not less than 3 low pressure tires, but not more than 6 tires, that is limited in engine displacement and total dry weight less than 800 pounds.
OPERATE To ride in or on and control the operation of a snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle.
OPERATOR. Every person who operates or is in actual physical control of a snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle.
SNOWMOBILE. A self-propelled vehicle designed for travel on snow or ice steered by skis or runners.
