The library trustees shall consist of six members, elected by the Board of Commissioners for terms as follows: two for two years, two for four years and two for six years. Thereafter, the trustees shall be replaced or reappointed for the same term they previously had or their predecessors had. The library trustees shall have powers and duties as may be delegated to them by the Board of Commissioners, pursuant to G.S. § 153A-266.
