§ 92.29  INSPECTIONS, RECORDS AND REPORTS.
   (A)   Generally. Subject to supervision by the Mayor or the Board of Commissioners, the Fire Chief shall be the Fire Inspector. As such, he or she or his or her designated agent shall have authority to enter all premises at any reasonable time for the purposes of inspection.
   (B)   Routine inspections.
      (1)   The Fire Chief shall make monthly inspections of all boarding houses and other buildings which are two or more stories in height.
      (2)   He or she shall make an annual inspection of all other structures located within the fire district.
   (C)   Inspections upon complaint. The Fire Chief shall, upon receipt of a complaint, forthwith investigate.
   (D)   Investigations, records and reports of causes of fires. The Fire Chief shall investigate the causes of fires and shall keep records of his or her findings as to origin, location, owner, extent of damage and injury and amount of insurance carried. These findings shall be reported to the State Insurance Commissioner at regular intervals.
   (E)   Orders to remove fire hazards. The Fire Chief shall cause the removal of fire hazards by serving proper order to the owner of the premises in question or his or her agent, the order to state a reasonable time limit. Failure to comply with the order shall be considered a misdemeanor.
