§ 92.28  DUTIES OF FIRE CHIEF; GENERALLY.
   The Fire Chief shall:
   (A)   Supervise and direct the extinguishing of fires;
   (B)   Preserve and keep safe all equipment of the Fire Department;
   (C)   Compel, when necessary, all officers of the town or other persons to aid in the extinguishing of fires;
   (D)   Enforce all rules and provisions of this code, and other ordinances relative to fire prevention;
   (E)   Perform the duties assigned to the Fire Inspector;
   (F)   Inspect all equipment of the Fire Department and report all needed repairs to the Board of Commissioners;
   (G)   Report all violations of this chapter or any other fire prevention provisions;
   (H)   Annually report to the Board of Commissioners the names, residences and occupations of all firefighters, the number and locality of fires which have occurred during the year, the causes thereof if they can be ascertained, the name of the owner and the value of the property destroyed, insurance coverage and other matters pertaining to the Fire Department, its organization and operation as he or she deems best; and
   (I)   Do other and further things necessary for the proper and efficient operation of his or her Department and for the prevention of fire.
