§ 72.25  SPEED LIMITS GENERALLY.
   (A)   No person shall operate a vehicle within a residential district, on those streets or highways which are not a part of the state highway system and which are not state maintained, at a speed greater than 25 mph.
   (B)   No person shall operate a vehicle within the business district at a speed greater than 20 mph.
   (C)   Elsewhere within the town, unless otherwise directed or unless otherwise provided by this chapter or other ordinance, the speed limit shall be 35 mph.
   (D)   Notwithstanding any provision of this chapter, no vehicle shall ever be operated at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the circumstances then existing.
