§ 37.31  MAKING ARRESTS.
   (A)   When any person is arrested by a police officer for the violation of any ordinance or law, it shall be the duty of the arresting officer to take the accused immediately before a magistrate of the town.
   (B)   If bail is not allowed or if the accused is unable to post the required bail, he or she shall be confined in the town jail to await trial.
