§ 37.01  COMPOSITION; MAYOR AS HEAD OF DEPARTMENT; AUTHORITY OF MAYOR.
   (A)   The Mayor shall be the executive head of the Police Department and, together with the Chief of Police and other employees as the Board of Commissioners may deem necessary, shall constitute the Police Department.
   (B)   The Mayor shall have general control of the Police Department and may, at any time for cause, suspend from duty any member of the police force.
