It shall be the responsibility of said commission to follow through on all recreation projects approved by the council and subject to the approval of the council, to establish policies to promote the highest standards for recreation activities, and to keep informed relative to monthly budget disbursement and balance in recreation fund established by the council. No purchases which are chargeable to the recreation fund shall be made except upon designated city purchase order forms, which in turn must be approved by the recreation commission's city council representative. Also, all claim vouchers must be submitted and approved by the recreation commission's city council member prior to submission of same to the council for payment. (Ord. 592, 3-17-1949)
