As soon as such commission is appointed, the members shall meet and elect a chairman, vice chairman and secretary, who shall serve until the first Wednesday in January of the following year. A new chairman shall be elected on the first Wednesday in January of each year to serve a one year term. Said commission shall hold regular quarterly meetings and such additional meetings from time to time as they may deem necessary. Such meetings shall be open to the public. The vice chairman, in the absence of the chairman, shall perform all of the duties of said chairman. The secretary shall keep the minutes and records of the commission and shall perform such other duties as from time to time may be placed upon the secretary by the commission. (Ord. 1227, 9-14-2011)
