Should any member of the said commission be absent from two (2) consecutive duly called meetings of the commission and from two (2) consecutive public hearings conducted under the provisions of this chapter, said member shall be subject to removal from the commission at the pleasure of the mayor. Such removal shall be effectuated by a written notice to such member stating the intent to remove and the reasons therefor. Any person aggrieved by such a decision may, within fifteen (15) days after receiving such notice, request a hearing before the full council. (1971 Code)
