9-3-5: PARKING RESTRICTIONS:
   A.   Parking Prohibited; Certain House: From the hours of four o'clock (4:00) A.M. to seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. each day, it shall be unlawful for any person to park or have parked any automobiles, trucks, cars or other vehicles:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the intersection of West First Street and West Commercial Street and running thence in an easterly direction along West Commercial Street to the southeast corner of East First Street, thence north along East First Street to the intersection with the north side of East Court Street, thence westerly along the north side of East Court Street to the west side of West First Street, thence southerly along West First Street to the place of beginning.
All of West Main Street from West First to West Second and all of State Street south of Commercial to and including the area on the north of the Union Pacific depot.
This subsection shall not apply to city owned vehicles.
   B.   Parallel Parking Required: Throughout the city of Weiser, except where diagonal parking is specifically provided or where directions of a peace officer or traffic control device indicate otherwise, all vehicles shall be parallel parked with the right tires not more than eighteen inches (18") from the curb on two-way streets. On one-way streets, the vehicle may be parked on either side of the street in the same direction as the traffic flow and not more than eighteen inches (18") from the curb or side of the road.
It shall be the obligation of both the registered owner and the operator of the vehicle to park in compliance with these requirements. (Ord. 1108, 11-13-2000)
