6-2-17: UNLAWFUL TO HARBOR VICIOUS DOGS:
It shall be unlawful to harbor on any premises any vicious, fierce or dangerous dog that may, in the event that it becomes loose, attack, bite or maul any person who is legally on said premises at the time of said attack or which may attack, bite or maul any person not on the owner's premises.
Should the court determine that a vicious dog cannot be safely contained, or whose owner fails to keep the animal adequately contained, the court may, in addition to any other penalty under this chapter, order the animal destroyed. (Ord. 1192, 9-11-2006)
