It shall be an infraction for any person charged with control or the owner of any dog or cat to permit, or by neglect, allow the animal to be on any public or private property of another within the city where the owner or person charged with control of the animal has been previously warned against allowing an animal to run at large and where the animal is not controlled by a leash not exceeding ten feet (10') in length nor confined in a motor vehicle.
Notice or warning of an animal running at large is complete upon personal service to the owner or person in charge or by mailing the notice and warning by U.S. mail to the last known address of the owner or person charged with control of the animal or animals. (Ord. 1233, 3-11-2013)
