4-2-1: ADOPTION OF CODES:
The current edition of the following nationally recognized codes, as adopted by the state of Idaho, which may be hereafter revised, amended, or supplemented, are hereby adopted and incorporated as an ordinance of the city, as fully as though set forth at length herein:
   A.   International building code.
   B.   International mechanical code.
   C.   International fire code.
   D.   Uniform code for the abatement of dangerous buildings, published by the Intermountain Conference Of Building Officials.
   E.   Uniform sign code, published by the Intermountain Conference Of Building Officials.
   F.   Life safety code, published by the National Fire Protection Association.
   G.   Portable fire extinguisher code, published by the National Fire Protection Association.
   H.   International electrical code.
   I.   International plumbing code.
   J.   Idaho standards for public works construction.
   K.   International residential code.
   L.   International energy conservation code.
The above mentioned codes shall regulate the erection, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, conversion, demolition, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and maintenance of buildings or structures in the city, provide for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor, and provide penalties for the violation thereof.
One copy of the aforesaid codes together with all amendments thereto, duly certified by the city clerk, shall be kept on file in his office for use and examination of and by the public. (Ord. 1142, 1-13-2003)
