The terms used in this subchapter shall have the same meaning as given to them in Act 197, or as hereafter defined, provided unless the context clearly indicates to the contrary. For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ACT 197. Public Act 197 of 1975, being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.1651 through 125.1681, as now in effect and hereafter amended.
AUTHORITY. The Downtown Development Authority as created herein.
BOARD. The governing body of the Authority.
COUNCIL. The Village Council.
DOWNTOWN DISTRICT. The downtown district designated by this subchapter as now existing or hereafter amended.
