§ 94.052 PERMITS AND FEES.
   (A)   No person, firm, or corporation shall construct, reconstruct, or repair any sidewalk, curb, gutter, or driveway improvement abutting on streets, alleys, or public ways of the village or cause the same to be constructed, reconstructed, or repaired without first obtaining the proper permits set forth herein, except in those cases where sidewalk, curb, gutter, or driveway improvements are to be constructed as part of an approved subdivision in accordance with the subdivider’s agreement.
   (B)   Work performed under permits issued by the village shall be performed in accordance with the specifications contained herein and as acceptable to the approval of the Village Engineer shall result in revocation of permits and condemnation of the work.
   (C)   Work shall begin within 30 days from the date of issuance of the required permit and shall be completed within 45 days, except that the Zoning Officer may, upon written request, by written permit, extend the time for completion of the work be more than 60 days from the date of issuance of the permit. Deviation from the prescribed time schedule shall result in expiration of the permit, and will require that reapplication for the required permit be made.
   (D)   Permit fees shall be paid at the time application is made for required permits and before such permits are issued. Permit fees shall be as set for in the village’s fee schedule, as adopted by reference in § 36.05.
