In addition to the penalties provided in § 70.99, a court may prohibit any person who violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter relating to bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and roller blades from using such equipment for a period not to exceed three months. In addition, any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter relating to bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and roller blades may be punished by having such equipment impounded for a period not to exceed 30 days.
