(A) Notification to the public of snow emergency may be made by news release to television, radio, newspaper, or other method acceptable to the Village Manager. News release shall be approved by the Safety Director prior to issuance.
(B) Within 24 hours of the issuance of a snow emergency news release, an updated news release will be issued to advise the public if the emergency is to be continued at the same level, upgraded or downgraded to another level, or discontinued.
