§ 36.09 CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE.
   (A)   The village authorize payment for fines, fees, water bills, and other charges by way of credit card or debit card with those entities that the village enters into a contract with.
   (B)   In the event any consumer pays a fine, fee, water bill, or other charge by way of using a credit card, there shall be established a 2% surcharge for the use of a credit card or debit card to pay said fine, fee, water bill, or other charge.
   (C)   This section is in the best interests of the village and a proper exercise of its police power in allowing payment in this method as it increases the cash flow of the village and provides a convenience to its consumers.
