(a) The position of Village Fire Inspector is hereby created.
(b) The duties of the Fire Inspector shall be to inspect the business locations, schools and private homes of the Village on a regular basis to assist said businesses, schools and private citizens to render their buildings and locations more safe with respect to fire hazards and related matters.
(c) The Fire Inspector shall make monthly reports to Council and indicate the status of the buildings in said Village with respect to fire and related hazards. The Fire Inspector shall make and keep records of his inspections and the advice given to the property owners relating to reducing fire and related hazards.
