145.19 ABSENCE WITHOUT LEAVE.

No employee may be absent from duty without permission of the department head. Absence without leave shall be sufficient cause for forfeiture of all rights and privileges earned while employed. An employee absent for three consecutive working days without notice and without sufficient reason shall be considered to have resigned.
