A properly documented application for building permit shall be referred by the Village Mayor to the Village Administrator for purposes of a field “on site” inspection. Said Village Administrator shall make an “on site” inspection of the lot of land where the remodeling and/or construction is proposed to be made, shall verify that the scale drawing supplied by the applicant for building permit is reasonably correct and approximately to scale and shall assist the applicant in correcting said scale drawing, if possible, in order to make the drawing conform to the actual site of construction or remodeling. Said Village Administrator shall file a report with the Mayor within ten (10) days after his “on site” inspection. Said Village Administrator shall report his findings concerning the proposed construction or remodeling to the Mayor. Said report of findings shall be reduced to writing on the application for building permit.
