A. Ordinances: All ordinances adopted by the Corporate Authorities of the Village shall be numbered sequentially. The number given to each ordinance shall contain the last two (2) digits of the year of adoption followed by a hyphen and the number of the ordinance in sequence for that calendar year beginning with the number one. All such ordinances shall thereafter be referred to as, e.g., "ordinance 89-01" et seq.
B. Resolutions: All resolutions adopted by the Corporate Authorities of the Village shall be numbered sequentially. The number given to each resolution shall contain the last two (2) digits of the year of adoption followed by a hyphen, the letter "R", another hyphen and the number of the resolution in sequence for that calendar year beginning with the number one. All such resolutions shall thereafter be referred to as, e.g., "resolution 89-R-01" et seq. (Ord. 89-05, 4-4-1989; amd. 1998 Code)
