5-2-5: AIRCRAFT ASCENTS AND LANDINGS:
It shall be unlawful for any person to ascend or land any aircraft, defined in section 3 of an Act Relating to Aeronautics 1 , including gliders, helicopters, hot air balloons and parachutes, on any parcel of property, lot or tract of land within the Village which has a ground area of less than twenty (20) acres (excluding adjacent roads); provided, however, that the prohibition contained herein shall not apply to any emergency landing or to any medical helicopter on a bona fide emergency medical mission or official State business upon prior approval of the Chief of Police. Any person violating any provision of this section shall, upon conviction therefor, be fined a sum as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code for each offense. (Ord. 19-10, 7-16-2019)
