3-2-7: PAYMENT OF LICENSE FEES:
All such fees shall be delivered to the local liquor control commissioner at the time an application for a liquor license is made. All license fees shall be paid by certified check or bank draft payable to the village. Such liquor license shall be purely a personal privilege and shall not be transferable. Such license shall be good for not exceeding the calendar year in which it is issued, unless sooner revoked for cause as provided by law.
There shall be no apportioning of said fee for fractions of a year, nor shall there be any refund in case of a revocation of said license.
All license fees are due and payable January 2 of each calendar year, and it shall be unlawful for any place of business wherein alcoholic liquor is sold or offered for sale, or kept for sale, to be open to the public until such fee is paid and license issued.
Upon the local liquor control commissioner's approving the issuance of any license, the fee for such license shall be delivered to the village treasurer to be deposited in the general corporate fund. (Ord. 81-01, 1-12-1981)
