There is hereby established a zoning board of appeals for the village. Said board shall consist of seven (7) members to serve respectively for the following terms: Initially, one member for one year; two (2) for two (2) years; two (2) for three (3) years; two (2) for four (4) years. Thereafter, the successor to each member so appointed to serve for a term of four (4) years, or the remainder of the term of the member being replaced, whichever is less. All persons appointed shall serve until a successor is appointed and qualified. As hereafter provided, one member will serve as chairman. For the purpose of establishing the dates of appointment or reappointments the effective date of initial appointments will be June 1, 1989. (Ord. 89-13, 5-16-1989)
