(A) The Citizens Advisory Board shall consist of not less than three members, nor more than seven members.
(B) The members shall be selected and appointed by the Sheriff of the county and shall serve for such period as designated by the Sheriff and, thereafter, at the pleasure of the Sheriff.
(C) The members of the Citizens Advisory Board shall be citizens of the county selected on the basis of experience and reputation as dedicated and responsible citizens of the community able to offer mature and enlightened counsel in the important and delicate matters related to the internal operation of the County Sheriff’s Department.
