§ 155.102 BLOCK LAYOUT REQUIREMENTS.
   Block layout shall be as follows.
   (A)   Blocks shall have sufficient width to provide for two tiers of lots of appropriate depth, except in the case of an interior street paralleling a principal thoroughfare.
   (B)   The lengths of blocks shall be such as are appropriate for the locality and the type of development contemplated, but normally shall not exceed 1,500 feet, where the average size of lots do not exceed one acre in area.
   (C)   In any block over 900 feet in length, the Commission may require that a crosswalk or pedestrian way, not less than 12 feet wide, be provided near the center and entirely across such block.
   (D)   The number of intersecting streets along highways, thoroughfares and parkways shall be held to a minimum. Wherever practicable, blocks along such trafficways shall be not less than 1,000 feet in length.
