§ 32.01 SMOKE-FREE JAIL FACILITY.

   (A)   Establishment. The Commissioners, on request of the County Sheriff, hereby elect to declare the entire County Safety Building to be a smoke-free facility. From the date of passage of this section, the County Sheriff is encouraged to establish and enforce policies in furtherance of this section.

   (B)   Administration. The administration and uniform enforcement of this section is the exclusive responsibility of the County Sheriff.

   (C)   Penalties. The Commissioners may establish, subsequent to further action by the Commissioners, a penalty for violation of this section.
