The Public Development Plan and this chapter shall be adopted in accordance with the procedure set forth in §§ 37, 38, 39 and 40, Ch. 174, Acts of 1947; except that, if the Board of County Commissioners desires an amendment, it may direct the Plan Commission to prepare an amendment and submit it to public hearing within 60 days after formal written notice by said Board.
