§ 151.17 ENFORCEMENT.
   (A)   The Building Commissioner shall, in the name of the county, bring actions in the Circuit or Superior Courts of the county for mandatory and injunctive relief in the enforcement of and to secure compliance with any order or orders, made by the Building Commissioner, and any such action for mandatory or injunctive relief may be joined with an action to recover the penalties provided for in this chapter made by the Building Commissioner or his or her duly authorized representative.
   (B)   (1)   Any person to be found in violation of this chapter may also be required to pay costs of prosecution.
      (2)   The County Sheriff’s Department, upon request of the Building Commissioner, shall assist in the enforcement of this chapter.
      (3)   The Building Commissioner may request the Sheriff’s to accompany him or her to any premises to help enforce the law and serve required notices.
