§ 151.12 STOP ORDER.
   (A)   Whenever any work is being done contrary to the provisions of this chapter, the Building Commissioner may order the work stopped by notice in writing served on any persons engaged in the doing or causing such work to be done, and any such persons shall forthwith stop such work until authorized by the Building Commissioner to proceed with the work.
   (B)   (1)   It shall be the responsibility of the owner of the property to ensure that the stop work order is complied with.
      (2)   The owner, the contractor and any person, firm or corporation who shall continue or permit to be continued any work on a stopped project, or portion thereof, other than corrective work, shall be in violation of this code.
      (3)   The owner, the contractor and the person, firm or corporation shall be notified in writing of such violation and fine.
      (4)   The written notice of violation shall be delivered by certified mail, return receipt requested, or by delivery in person.
   (C)   Each act of violation and every day, or portion thereof, upon which a violation occurs shall be considered a separate offense.
