(A) A law enforcement agency of the county may enact and enforce regulations pertaining to firearms, ammunition or firearm accessories issued to or used by law enforcement officers in the course of their official duties.
(B) A law enforcement officer who is on-duty shall be exempt from the provisions of this chapter. Upon request by security personnel, a law enforcement officer shall provide proper identification and/or certify that he or she is on-duty.
