§ 34.68 ADOPTION OF LOCAL INDIANA BUSINESS PREFERENCE POLICY.
All Purchasing Agents are advised that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 2013-013 adopted by the County's Board of Commissioners on October 17, 2012, and in accordance with the provisions of I.C. 5-22-15-20.9, any purchase of supplies by a County Purchasing Agent is subject to the automatically provided local business preference set forth in the above ordinance and the cited statute unless the particular purchase is excluded from the applicability of the Local Indiana Business Preference by action of the Board of Commissioners when it authorizes the request for bid/quotes/proposals. In order for the Local Business Preference to be granted, it must be expressly claimed by a qualifying Local Indiana Business in that business's bid, quote, or proposal.
