§ 34.67 REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS.
   (A)   Prior to a vendor submitting an RFP or a bid, the purchasing agent may send either a general or a vendor-specific "request for qualifications." The vendor's qualifications the purchasing agent may inquire about include:
      (1)   Appropriate experience with similar projects.
      (2)   Their team experience with design-build projects, if applicable.
      (3)   Their organizational resources and depth.
      (4)   The vendor's licensing requirements and whether their licenses are in good standing with their appropriate licensing agency(s).
      (5)   The vendor's financial strength and bonding capacity.
      (6)   The vendor's history of contracting with or hiring minority businesses and women's business enterprises.
      (7)   The vendor's experience dealing with bonding authorities.
   (B)   If any Elected Official and/or Department Head has questions concerning RFQs, when to use them, and/or how to use them, contact the Wayne County Attorney for further instructions and guidance.
