§ 34.60 POLICY STATEMENT.
   (A)   Wayne County (hereinafter referred as the "county") is a political subdivision of the State of Indiana and is governed by the state's public purchasing statutes including, but not limited to, the "Public Purchasing Law" found at I.C. 5-22-1-1 et seq., (the "Act"). In addition to the Act, the county's purchasing activities are further governed by executive orders, local ordinances, and resolutions of the Board of Commissioners.
   (B)   The county has adopted the following policies and procedures to be applicable to the purchase of goods and services in accordance with Indiana Code. Pursuant to Ordinance No. 2022-013, these policies and procedures apply to all county departments, boards, and commissions.
   (C)   If the policy refers to a section in Indiana Code, the information provided is for informational purposes only. Should any provision of this policy be contrary to any express provision of the Act, the terms of the Act will supersede the relevant provision(s) of this policy.
