§ 34.44 LIMITED ENGLISH PROFICIENCY.
   (A)   On 8-11-2000, President William J. Clinton signed an executive order, “Executive Order 13166: Improving Access to Service for Persons with Limited English Proficiency”, to clarify Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. It had as its purpose, to ensure accessibility to programs and services to otherwise eligible persons who are not proficient in the English language.
   (B)   County government endeavors to serve its residents to the best of its ability. To accommodate these individuals, county government provides, upon request, services to assist the limited English proficiency (LEP) population including translation of vital documents, interpretation services and alternative public outreach media.
