§ 34.02 IDENTIFICATION/SECURITY CARDS.
   (A)   All current county elected officials, department heads, employees and building tenants shall, on or before, 3-1-2005 obtain an ID card from the Sheriff of the county or his or her designated deputy.
   (B)   All new county elected officials, department heads, employees and building tenants shall, in conjunction with their orientation for employment or service with the county, obtain a proxy card from the Sheriff of the county or his or her designated deputy.
   (C)   (1)   All county elected officials, department heads, employees and building tenants shall be given their first ID cards without charge.
      (2)   An elected official, department head, employee or building tenant who needs to have his or her ID card replaced, for any reason other than an update of the security system by the Sheriff of the county, shall pay a replacement fee of $5.
      (3)   An elected official, department head, employee or building tenant shall report to the Sheriff of the county within one business day of discovering his or her ID card is lost, stolen, mutilated or, for any reason other than an update of the security system by the Sheriff, needs to be replaced.
   (D)   Every elected official, department head, employee and building tenant shall conspicuously wear on his or her person his or her ID card at all times he or she is on duty in the county buildings.
