§ 34.31 OTHER EXCEPTIONS TO COMPETITIVE BIDDING.

   There are numerous exceptions to competitive bidding including, but not limited to, the following:

   (A)   If the contract does not involve any work or other public improvement (e.g., a contract for supplies);

   (B)   Contracts for collection of garbage;

   (C)   Work performed by the village’s own forces without an outside contractor; and

   (D)   Other exceptions as provided by state’s municipal code and state’s case law.
